Tucker Carlson Discusses All Ten Cases In 2019 In Which The Police Killed Someone Who Was Both (a) Black and (b) Unarmed

Actually, even most of these people were armed if you count (i) cars used as weapons and (ii) weapons taken from the police and turned on them. At least one had a gun he pointed at the cops, but was inexplicably counted as unarmed anyway. At least one other claimed to have a gun and had previously been in a shootout with the cops. 

   (Heather Mac Donald did something similar first, but I couldn't find it.)

   In short: the open season myth is a bald-faced lie. It isn't true, it isn't a little bit true, it isn't anywhere in the vicinity of being true, it isn't a falsehood that gets at something true. It's just a lie.

   However, this lie is an absolute cornerstone of our public discussion and public reasoning about race-relations in this country. People are being forced (well..."forced"...) to engage in Maoist struggle sessions and tearfully abase themselves, begging forgiveness for having expressed any doubts about the lie or any of its corollaries or consequences. 

   Even if you, like the cult, don't care about truth and believe it should be subordinated to "social justice" (that term itself containing a lie...but you know that): no. This is one of the most harmful lies perpetrated by any political faction in my lifetime. The left has convinced blacks that they are being hunted and massacred en masse by the police. And nothing could be further from the truth. 

   But I don't care about mere harm. 

   The crucial, fundamental point here is the progressive rejection of truth and objectivity. Progressivism is a web of falsehoods and delusions, and it rejects the objectivity and importance of truth as a matter of principle. Until that problem is solved, there is simply no reasoning with the cult. The cult's anti-alethicism has deranged it, as must inevitably happen. Conservatives, in this case, recognize the delusion...but the cult controls the cultural high ground, and deploys its all-purpose argument against them for daring to speak the truth: racist!!! 

   There's probably no hope for the country--hence, probably, no hope for the world--unless the radical, delusional, progressive cult is beaten. This sounds melodramatic. I wish it were. I sincerely hope that I'm basically wrong about everything. Otherwise, we're probably screwed.
