Welch scrapes up some entirely powerless nuttiness on the right and basically pretends it's symmetrical. It's silly, but that's what has to be done to have even a small chance of getting lefties to take criticisms of lefties seriously.

Other than that, he's pretty much on target. Especially about the whiney, bogus, not-even-vaguely-plausible claims about "safety."
