Who Was That Clintonite Quasi-"Royalty" Woman?

Remember there was this one woman who was like...allgedly some kind of "royalty" ( <-- note: phoney concept; similar to: ghosts) or something...Lady Dooku or Countess Crapula or something...she was like this HRC supporter who was supposed to be this mega-fundraiser who was going to win it for Hillary and somehow thought that everybody was interested in hearing her fascinating opinions on politics?

Does anybody know who I'm talking about?

Am I making this up?

WS, I believe you're talking about Lady de Rothschild, who got her title the old-fashioned way, by marrying into the family.

Lady de Rothschild was a major fund raiser for Hillary Rodham Clinton's 2008 Presidential bid and has received attention for endorsing John McCain for President. She has stepped down as a member of the Democratic National Committee platform committee.

...and the fact that she abandoned the Dems was supposed to be evidence that the Puma vote was substantial and McCain would get those votes.

Which never made sense anyway. But they tried.

The most hilarious part was her trying to convince everybody that Obama was unfit to be President. because he was an elitist.

Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild. Accuses Obama of being elitist. Well, I guess she'd know, wouldn't she?

It still sounds like a joke name to me.

... except for the 'Lynn' part, which is comfortably middle class.
