Unless they were related or best buds or something, this is...well...I don't even know how to describe it. 

Just another little fragment of the insanity that's gripped the American left.

[In retrospect: I'll bet the time intervening between Mr. Floyd's killing and the funeral has been an extremely emotional one for the Mayor. There's probably some virtue-signaling mixed in there...but the Mayor's probably been through the wringer, and can be excused for some of it coming out like this.]
