(Though he tends to be rather TDS-y.)
OTOH, when he wrote that, it wasn't clear that Iran's response was token.
But I certainly agree--FWIW--with the biggest issue he raises: that Congress should reassert its proper role in matters of war. I'm not sure the have to do it now--but it seems like as good a time as any and better than most.
Will this require revoking/ending/deactivating/whatever the AUMF? I have no idea, but it seems crazy to me that that thing is still operant. Again, speaking merely as an ignorant layperson.
