Michelle Goldberg: Trump's Mexico/Border Thing Accomplished Nothing

I guess I'm missing something, because this still just seems like anti-Trump nonsense to me. Goldberg's arguments seems to be: Trump did nothing because, well, sure he got Mexico to do some border stuff, but then he make stupid claims about secret deals and Mexico buying more stuff from U.S. farmers and whatnot. So see?
Maybe she's right. But so far as I can tell thus far, this is the familiar one-two punch of Trump being a loon and la resistance being a whole bunch of loons. Seems like Trump did something good, then couldn't resist crowing about having done more than he actually did. La resistance ignores what he actually accomplished--in part because they don't want what he accomplished to be accomplished--they're not actually against illegal immigration--then they focus exclusively on his dishonest crowing. And, hey: dude is the...and I still can't believe this...president. His apparently groundless crowing is a big deal. But still.
Just a small point, and I hate to sound anything like the PC left, but: that shit about how Trump being president is like living with an abusive father? I have substantial evidence that only someone who had know idea what they're talking about would say such a thing. NBD, but false.
Trump's bad. Again: there's plenty to criticize, if that floats your boat, without making shit up.
