I'm not quite as confident as some that there will be a sufficiently strong backlash.

Also: I'm concerned that so few people acknowledge that this is simply phase II of political correctness and the smaller culture war mostly isolated to universities in the late '80s-early '90s. There was a backlash then...but the PC left just withdrew into academia and began pushing its mix of bad philosophy and politics onto generations of graduate students and undergrads. I doubt there will ever be a permanent victory against this brand of totalitarianism. That's not a counsel of despair...we need to win this war. We can worry about future wars after that. Y'know...IF we win...
