When I saw the picture at the top, I thought: Those dumbshits look like Extinction Rebellion with their dipshit prop...

   Turns out, I was right: "Doctors for Extinction Rebellion"

   There's so much stupid in this article that I'm just going to try to ignore it...um...except to just shoot from the hip/blow off steam by saying:

   If medicine were "inherently political"--which it isn't--then that would mean that you can just fucking drop the politics, you asshat, and do your damn job. Because, if it were, then by engaging in medicine you'd already be engaging in politics. Of course it isn't--and it shouldn't be. This is one of the central lunacies of the progressive left--and virtually the definition of totalitarianism: that politics must be injected into everything. One wonders why one is every warranted in doing anything else, actually. Any time spent not pushing politics is time wasted. If you're only pushing politics 10% of the time at work, now your job basically divides in two: the political part and, y'know, the your goddamned job part. But now that latter 90% is left with no politics in it! REEEEEEE! So you've gotta put some politics into that part... And thus does civilization collapse into crazy.

   Ever notice how everything lefties do they proclaim to be "inherently political?" Right down to purely personal matters? Madness.

   Of course the politicization of medicine + the medicalization of everything --> the politicization of everything...though the politicization of everything is happening anyway...so this isn't really anything new.

   One aspect of progressive madness is that apparently no one is supposed to specialize anymore. We're all supposed to be pushing leftist insanity at all times, in all ways, and to never do anything just in itself or for its own sake. That's the end of academia and human inquiry...but it's the end of everything else, too, so.
