Al Hunt: "UNC And Right-Wing Cancel Culture"

Bullshit

I like how "cancel culture" isn't a problem--and, in fact, according to the left, doesn't even exist--until there's one incident on the right. And now it's a problem. 

   And, of course: Hannah-Jones is ostentatiously unqualified for an endowed chair. Her claim to fame is the bogus "1619 project," which is debunked bullshit. And her hiring is blatantly political. But the Board of Trustees blocking one godawful decision is a scandal. In fact: blocking only one small part of it: automatic, unearned tenure. 

   Of course I don't like administration interfering with faculty decisions. But when the decision is stupid as shit, I'm willing to be flexible.
