"Democrats' Bipartisan Prayers Are Going Unanswered"

No, I am not making this up.

The Pubs, you see, are radical and uncompromising and hate democracy...

The mind, it reels.

There's no reason to waste any time actually typing out the obvious responses...but I can't help at least gesturing at the very most obvious one: the Dems spent Trump's entire term of office basically rejecting democracy. In fact, his leaving office has barely slowed them down--now they're ginning up lawsuits to punish him for every having had the temerity to run. And win. Not that the USA ought actually to be simply described as a democracy...but ignoring that: the Dems only cherish democracy when it gives them the outcomes they prefer. Not that the Pubs are any better on this score--but they're currently a bit less sanctimonious about it. When Dems have the votes, democracy is holy. When they don't, they're fine with the courts legislating from the bench. 

   Oh and, the author get in a little complaining about auditing the votes. Because, y'know, in four years Dems went from TRUMP AN' THE ROOSKIES STOLT THE 'LECTION!!!!! to Although we should never check to make sure someone is a registered voter because racism, our elections are holy and perfect and there is no such thing as electoral fraud in the U.S. E-VAR...

   Meh. MSDNC "opinion columnist"... What did I expect?
