Progressive Press Still Pushing The Tear Gas Story About Lafayette Square

They get a story in place and they just keep repeating it.

The spokesman for the Park Police was right on target, IMO, when he basically said:  Yes, we were telling the truth when we said we didn't use tear gas...but we should have realized you people don't know the difference between pepper balls and tear gas--so we should have lied and said 'yes' in order to, basically, control for your ignorance.
