This alone is two strikes against him:
“Joe believes that the best policies don't come from politics, they come from classrooms and educators. And that's where his plan comes from. And it's what I like to call educator-approved. And the first thing he's going to do is pick a secretary of Education, who is a public school educator and has experience in the classroom,” Jill Biden said at a fundraiser. “I mean I hear that, again and again and again — no more Betsy DeVos.”
It's a profound sign of the sorry state of education in the U.S. that basically the last thing we need in this position is someone from the educational establishment. DeVos has done a fantastic job. She's one of Trump's best appointments (and he's made several). Biden's already said that he'll roll back her Title IX reforms--that is, due process protections, the right for the accused to face his accuser, etc.
I think it's pretty clear that this is the sort of thing we'll get in a Biden administration--the commonsense, liberal/conservative reforms of the Trump administration will be rolled back to bring them (back) into accordance with the antiliberal dogma of the progressive left.
We don't just elect a president. We, in effect, elect an administration. A Biden administration will sweep a mass of extremist woketards into the bureaucracy. And that would be a catastrophe.
