Philadelphia BLM Activists Have A Plan To Defund, Dismantle The Police In The Next 5 Years

You should be appalled not only at the thought that this might happen, but at the fact that this is on the table in any way at all. 

The left largely controls the position of the Overton Window. That means they have an extraordinary amount of power. And, since they've gone crazy, that's bad. 

A bad reaction: Oh, well, I'm sure they must mean something on the less-radical end of the range of possibilities...like...maybe take a couple thousand bucks away from the police and shift it over to social services...

The right reaction: These people are nuts. They're running Motte-and-Bailey scam. So we can't exactly tell how radical their plans are. But on the radical end, the plan is completely nuts. And: they always shoot for the most radical position they can get away with.

What you should be doing is aiming to thwart them--not making excuses for them, going along with this crackpot scheme, and hoping for the best. 

On the bright side: Biden seems opposed to this sort of thing, and actually has said he wants to do the opposite--that is, get more money to the police. Whether that's a good idea or not I don't know...because like almost everyone else sticking their oar in here, I know very little about the subject--which is, however, more than enough to be justified in believing that the "defund" idea is cracked.

But: how long can/will Biden hold out against the extremist / BLM left? 

My prediction: not long. "He" will come out with some conciliatory plan. Everybody's afraid to stand up to BLM, because everybody knows that anyone who does will be mass-accused of racism. This will, I expect, be a test for Biden and the Dems--their left wing knows that they can demand all sorts of crazy things and the remnants of the center will be afraid to say no. The remnants of the center know that this is a dangerous game, even merely politically. (Of course it's a complete disaster for the country...)
