The NYT Is Full Of Shit: Tom Cotton Op-Ed Edition: Props To Saletan

Saletan has, IMO, like lots of other good (formerly?) liberal columnists (e.g. Kevin Drum), basically given in to the radical online mob on social issues. (Saletan, for example, issued a confession a few years back apologizing for ever having thought it was permissible to discuss race and IQ scientifically).
But anyway, he's still interesting sometimes. And, as Ted Cruz notes, he deserves props for calling BS on the NYT's obvious BS. The NYT's woketard staff apparently threw a tantrum because the Times published the Cotton Op-Ed. Like everyone else on the left, the Times is afraid of pissing off other lefties and getting ostracized (or "cancelled" in the dipshit terminology of such folk.) So it's making up BS reasons for the claim that...and, no, none of this really makes any sense...it shouldn't have published the piece because something something "fact checks." When, in fact, the woke kommissars on the Times' staff have, rather, deemed Cotton's view politically incorrect.
So...I guess you might say: at least the Times is still at a point such that they have to at least pretend that facts matter...even if that's part of an elaborate lie to avoid simply saying: In retrospect, Cotton's conclusion is politically incorrect, ergo we were wrong to publish it. Perhaps at the next phase, they'll drop the pretense, and just say that. The final phase might be to rewrite history, a la the Ministry of Truth: We didn't publish that
This is madness. The most horrifying part of it is that so many on the left are still willing to pretend that it isn't.
