Believe The Falsehoods, Bigot

The available evidence clearly refutes BLM's open season myth. Previously, we were merely expected to pretend it was a respectable hypothesis. Now, apparently, we are expected to tearfully, publicly affirm it, on pain of being e-mauled by the shrieking leftist internet mob. In fact, we are expected to affirm it passionately--people are losing their jobs because their affirmations are deemed insufficiently hyperbolic, or because they violate some other rule that the progressive left just made up. I read about somebody yesterday who lost her (his?) job because her (his?) public profession was deemed "too general."* This is another characteristic of the contemporary Orwellian left--even if you knuckle under to them, you can never be sure what's required of you. Their judgments are largely impressionistic. And they gain status by denouncing people. So you have to guess at what incantation will protect you...and each one of the mobsters has a strong motive to make up some BS about how you have fallen short in order to show the rest of the mob that they are woker than thou.

   Progressivism is now quite openly an unhinged totalitarianism. It's going to get worse, and there is a good chance that it will do irrevocable harm to the country. Fight it.
