   His seemingly subsidiary points--which he's made many times--are also important: there's at least some evidence that police use sub-lethal force disproportionately against black men. The open season myth is a progressive political hoax. The disproportionate killing myth is similarly, well, a myth. But some lesser hypotheses remain open questions.
