NYT Outraged As Progressive/Media-Matters Tactics Turned On Them

A common progressive tactic--Media Matters is a master of it--involves digging up some comment some non-progressive has made in the past and using it in a campaign of character assassination to discredit everything else the person has said.
Apparently they're not so wild about the tactic when it's used against them.
I'm no fan of Jeffrey Lord, nor of this tactic--but I agree that sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
