Though there's a point buried in that dreck: the progressive left currently seems to control the Overton window, doesn't it? It makes radical--sometimes insanely radical--proposals, takes what it can get, then proposes something even more radical later to take whatever ground it didn't get the first time. I mean, the GND is so insane that, unless moving the Overton window was the whole point of it, I'm not sure how to make sense of it.
