The next step is to pass legislation criminalizing women whenever they fail to be married and have intercourse at the right times in their cycles so that their eggs can be fertilized. Clearly abstinence is nothing more than an arrogant usurpation of God's right to decide when another life will come into the world. Abstinence is just another form of birth control, and if life begins two weeks before conception, clearly birth control is no different than abortion.
Wait a minute. Is this a parody of religious conservatives or am I just giving them ideas? Sometimes it's hard to tell.
