Though, we we know, Obama in on the record as being o.k. with such actions at least in principle, and McCain is on the record against them. So perhaps it might actually help Obama if these attacks really do keep going?

I have an uneducated inclination to be with Obama on this one, incidentally. Though, of course, I have no confidence whatsoever in the judgment of this administration.

Certainly seems like a peculiar time to initiate such attacks... But perhaps it's a weather thing.
