A New Low Alright

So apparently the GOP is squeaking about the fact that Biden asserted that people with special needs children should be pro-stem cell research. He wasn't talking about Palin, but apparently the new rule is that Dems can't mention the issue. A McCain spokesman squeaked some hyperbolic squeaks about this being "a new low"!!!11!1 and so forth.

Jeez these people are completely unprincipled.

This is what happens when somebody really speaks their mind. People get over your fear of Stem cell research you are cowering behind a fake wall of fear. I believe that stemcell reasearch hasn't been persued because it would take uncurable diseases and cure them and nobody would make money.

Don't be ridiculous. There's no pharmaceutical treatment for Down's or autism or most other genetic disorders of that kind.

More importantly, do you seriously think stem cell-based therapies will be given away for free? No, they'll make a fortune for whoever's first to commercialise them.

Obama's lip stick / pig remark ... and, Biden's unsavory children with special needs remarks show us what a couple of creeps these two candidates are. In lieu of Sarah Palin's comment about hockey moms, pit bulls and lip stick, Obama's lip stick/ pig remark was extremely demeaning. Even though I am not an Obama supporter, at least I thought he had some degree of class and sophistication. He can try to cover his tracks by saying that the lip stick remark was not directed towards Governor Palin, but anyone with half a brain knows that's exactly what he meant. I think Obama knows his campaign is in real trouble, and that's why he's stooping to such desperate, insulting and distasteful attacks. Obama is definitely not Presidential material.

LOL, please Republicans, keep acting insulted about that "Lipstick wearing Pig" deal. It makes you all look more Pathetic when they replay clips of McCain and all the other politicians using the same phrase. I swear, some of you are to slow to understand that the whole concept of not understanding what the phrase really means, and this really makes anyone who gets "offended" by that passing phrase look even dumber than saying Obama is a Muslim, but goes to a Christian Church. Double Duh.

LOOOOOOOL

Nice try, "Howard." (Funny how more and more comments of this kind seem to be cropping up in comments sections on liberal blogs...)

Aside from the patent absurdity of the McCain camp's pathetic attempt to twist the lipstick/pig remark, Ambinder has noted that (a) Obama uses that phrase all the time, and (b) McCain used that phrase when discussing HRC's health care plan.

So it's obviously not aimed at Palin, but, if it is, then McCain did the same thing.

Jeez these people are unbelievable.
