It was a long week. The house is a mess. You're tired. There are some loose ends from last week you'd really like to tie up. There are projects you really need to get to work on at some point. And a stack of unread books by the couch.
But your country needs you.
Think about what the world would be like if more Americans had gone down to work for Al Gore in 2000.
Think about what the world will be like if McCain/Palin are elected fifty-two days from now.
Unless you're performing brain surgery today, or slipping into Pakistan to look for OBL, you probably don't have anything more pressing than the current needs of your country.
Get up you Democrats.
It's time to go to work.
