Via the increasingly dogmatic and just plain weird Instapundit. Why do people HATE George Bush worse than ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD? They, of course, don't merely think he's a bad and irresponsible president, according to this...they (i.e. we) HATE him. Does it have anything to do with him lying to us repeatedly? NO, OF COURSE NOT AND SHUT UP. It has been proven, in case you weren't aware, with absolute certainty that Bush had told only the truth about everything. Our frothing-at-the-mouth hatred of him and undying love for OBL and al Qaeda is a result of several psychological disorders including that beloved psychobabble stand-by "displacement," not to mention the fact that we're all still commies.
This could be the greatest tele-diagnosis since Frist's.
I'm starting to think that these people really are losing it.

I find that a little psychobabble clears up almost any situation.
And if you can't win with logic, hey, question the sanity of those you disagree with.
It's a strategy the Bush camp used with both Gore and Kerry to great effect.

Give it up, man. The guy's hopeless. I still read Powerline to make my stomach hurt (and to reassure myself that, yes, people can be that ridiculous), but it's a limited pleasure.
