This is good.

Coyne started out about where I did, mainly pissed at the right and inclined to make excuses for the left. 

We both got better.

(Though, to be fair, since grad school I've recognized the radical left as the most dangerous view. I just stupidly thought we'd defeated it in the mid-'90s.)
