NPR Poll Re: "Misinformation": Your PMSM In A Nutshell

 This, of course, is an anti-conservative hit-piece. It's not that what it says is false...it's rather that, as usual, it's all set up specifically to highlight things the right is nutty about and include no discussion of what the left is nutty about. I mean...there is the pretense that we know that the Wuhan virus didn't get loose from a lab. I suppose I'd bet that it didn't...but when I was following that discussion, the conclusion seemed uncertain. Also, their flagship case is that a plurality of people believe that "the majority" of BLM "protests" last summer were violent. Meh. It's never really mattered what percentage of the protests were violent. The fact that, in addition to their numerous, violent, destructive riots, the left also had some peaceful protests doesn't really matter. What's relevant is that there were lunatic riots at all--and that they were so violent and destructive and numerous. Consider the shrieking when we point out that unjustified killings constitute only a tiny, tiny percentage of interactions between police and black men.

Then there's the case of "humans do not play a significant role in climate change"...which 69% of people think is false, but is pretty likely to be true. As usual, the left (in this case: NPR) simply deems its preferred view to be fact (or "the science"). The question is chosen specifically so it can be spun as anti-conservative...in fact, even then, it's a testament to the strength of leftist brainwashing. We might instead ask whether we face an "existential threat" and will fall over the tipping-point in ten years--because that's what most leftist thing, and it's utterly unproven--and likely false.

We might also ask whether there is significant evidence that Trump is a Russian asset, that he called Nazis "very fine people," that the United States is rotten with "systematic racism," that sex and race are created by social agreement, that men can become women (and vice-versa) by fiat...and on and on. 

Anyway. This is the kind of dishonesty of which the left is made--and it's why we ought to end public funding of NPR.
