Times/Post Sunday Summary

Everything is terrible! Doom....DOOM...DOOOOOOOOMMMM.... The ends of pandemics are worse than the pandemics! Reopening NYC will be too hard! DOJ refusing to continue railroading Michael Flynn is teh travesty of teh justice! Trump wants you dead, dead, DEAD!!!! Pork chops > people!!!...in Trump's Amerikkka, that is! Conservatives politicize science! Conservatives have politicize the number of pandemic deaths!!! [Yeah...somebody apparently wrote that with a straight face...] Do not call The Totally Has Nothing To Do With China In Any Way Virus 'the China virus' you RACIST!!!!!! Right-wing conspiracy theories SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING! [Usual report on SNL Trump skit so NYT can quote their Trump-ridicule while pretending it's some kind of news.] DEATH DEATH DEATH!!!! Deaths "Mount"!!! Joe Biden's VP will be the person he loves and admires and trusts and reveres and cuddles and and recognizes is the bestest and truest and mostest person in the whole wide world! Even though he already specified her sex and/or race! Because it...I dunno...works like that I guess. Pubs worry about losing Senate because they realize that Trump has botched the pandemic and other ways of nesting our own political views in alleged concerns Republicans have! ORANGE MAN BAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!111111111

   And on and on.

   The crown jewel in this is the WaPo's propaganda video about Trump and the Charlottesville Unite The Right rally...which is an exercise in moving the goalposts...and then swerving into every other anti-Trump point they think they can cram in there. And the crown jewel of that crown jewel is that the video is represented as being a "fact-check." It's really such a concentrated little propaganda pill it's worth going through step-by-step later. 

   The Times and the Post are little more than propaganda organs at this point.

   I'm less and less capable of honestly assessing the Trump administration because our main sources of information are now almost completely unreliable. Needless to say, it's possible that Trump's much worse than he seems. But when all the MSM does is dump a garbled pile of anti-Trump propaganda on us every day, it's--speaking for myself, anyway--almost impossible to tell. 

   Finally: note that the very same publications that issued a flood of falsehoods propping up and propagating Russiagate for three years straight contain not a word about this weeks' explosive revelations about that hoax. Unless you count their outrage that anyone would interfere with FBI entrapment/railroading of an innocent man....

   No matter how anti-Trump you are, you need to be alarmed at the fact that progressives completely control our major sources of news. That would be bad even if progressivism hadn't become unhinged from reality.
