Oh, there are a lot more straws to go, not least Mueller himself. But yeah, firing Sessions for all the wrong reasons is bad news.
Last straw for who--Republicans? Trump, so far as I can tell, is constitutionally incapable of respecting the rule of law. He is equally incapable of understanding what it means to be a public servant. That much has been obvious since the beginning. He operates like a mobster; this move thus doesn't strike me as a difference in kind from what we've already seen. Why would Republicans grow a spine now? He literally claimed on national TV that he fired Comey because of the "Russia thing." I just don't see why this would get any more of a response. If anything we're now more desensitized to the insanity of it all.
