Inheritance Etc. And the White/Black Wealth Gap

Well, my family did its part to close the gap. Guess dad is woker than I thought.

(To be fair, I got appreciable help from various elements of my family earlier in life. Not contemporary middle-class levels of help...but enough to matter a lot, and a lot more than many people get. Though also to be fair, my father is a psychopath.)

But anyway: I'm for trying to close the wealth gap...but is there any realistic way to do it that doesn't end up being more-or-less extensionally equivalent to punishing white families for accumulating wealth and passing it on to their children?
