TDS @ WaPo: "Trump Suggests That The Act Of Protesting Should Be Illegal"
Honestly, would it be possible to find a more dishonest interpretation of what he said?
Trump has no idea what he's doing, nor which ideals he needs to be representing and defending. As on the race front, he shouldn't be saying things that are unclear in such ways. But this Post story is shit. He didn't "suggest that the act of protesting should be illegal." What he said was perfectly consistent with time, place and manner restrictions on speech. The clearest thing he said was that the disruptive protesters should be thrown out--about which he was right. In fact, they were thrown out. About which the Post doesn't seem to be complaining.
What am I missing?
