Aaron Mate: "The Mueller Indictments Still Don't Add Up To Collusion"
At The Nation, which has actually been pretty objective about this stuff.
For the record, though my view has oscillated, the mean is still:
Collusion: no
Obstruction: yes
Though, as I've said before, I'm speaking of obstruction as a layperson...whatever the hell that means and for whatever it's worth. One way to add some meat to those bones: my hunch is consistent with Trump getting off on a technicality. What I mean is: it still seems to me that the fired Comey in order to derail the collusion investigation. And, unless I'm really missing something, that is deserving of impeachment even if it isn't illegal. And conviction. Even if, as I suspect, there was no collusion and Trump was largely motivated by a desire to derail an investigation that he plausibly considered irrational and unfair...intentionally thwarting it in such a way seems rather clearly unacceptable.
But all this is half-assed. I'm just thinking out loud, yet again. Mostly to prompt rational correction.

During his meeting with Russian officials last week, President Donald Trump said recently fired FBI Director James Comey was a "nut job" whose ouster relieved "great pressure" on him, according to a report Friday in The New York Times.
Trump has reacted furiously to the appointment. However, at a combative news conference Thursday, he fell short in trying to resolve questions about investigations into his campaign and his first four months in office.
Asked point-blank if he'd done anything that might merit prosecution or even impeachment, Trump said no — and then added of the lingering allegations and questions: "I think it's totally ridiculous. Everybody thinks so."

What is the simplest explanation of his actions, Winston? Even the guiltiest perp from a Columbo episode knows not to act guilty in public. But we have to keep an open mind as to Trump’s involvement because why?
Because abductions are the weakest form of inference?
Definitely not saying collusion, because that would be wrong, but here is another bit of data
