There's one thing about this: batteries are a critical component in the aircraft, yes. But they aren't a structural component in the aircraft. If the problems were in the graphite nose assembly, this would be a BIG DEAL. Like, the aircraft isn't airworthy. But even the most serious problems with batteries are something that can be addressed without any structural changes.
