Is it just me, or is the media strangely silent about levels of violence in Iraq?

OK, I have a challenge for you:
At least once a week make a happy post. Because there's only so much depression we can take. So I'm charging you to bring some sunshine into our lives.
Don't even care what it is. Something happy in your life, updates on the guy who got arrested for sexually assaulting a bicycle, how you dressed up as Spike for Halloween, anything. Just post something happy or funny.
I think it'll help you--and the rest of us--feel better. Because all this bad news is no go for us.
Take me up on it? I know you can do it, after all, I was first drawn here by your post on Kim du Toit. So I know you have it in you!
Sorry, MK.
You speak wisdom.
Yeah, I agree with Michelle: the du Toit post is memorable. After seeing various 'remember the classics' posts around the internets, I went back and read it yesterday. Man that is a funny post.
And remember guys: Cheerios ads are like castration!

Gracias.
Ok, here's a start for you: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/10/26/nsex126.xml
Points to discuss:
1) How on earth?
2) Does this really deserve a registry requirement?
3) But he was in a locked room! Wasn't there an implication of privacy?
4) No, really. How'd he do it? Is that even physically possible?
See! It's easy, and we'll all feel lots better afterwards!
Or you can try this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTLj_3R0-2g
But I'm warning you it's both amusing and strange all at the same time.
Umm... Go public health?
