You mean men and women are different? Preposterous.
Yeah, but who'd have thought they'd be different in *this* way? I've thought for a long time that biology's going to turn out to be a lot weirder than we currently think it is. (And by 'we' I mean us folks who basically get all their information on biology from Scientific American and suchlike...) It's reflecting on the endosymbiotic hypothesis that first got me started thinking along these lines.
The most amazing part is that women still outlive men on the average despite the fact that they are being medicated on the basis of faulty study data.
