NR: Dems Go Off the Socialist Deep End

The economic deep end, actually.

They went off the social deep end a decade ago.

In 2016 I predicted that the Dems would never embrace the cult of Woketarianism. Which is why I voted for Hillary. I was wrong. Then I predicted that they'd shrug it off soon enough and move back toward the center. Wrong again. Then I didn't so much predict as hope that maybe the Ezra Klein's of the party might shift the faction's focus to some relatively innocuous economic ideas--e.g. "abundance" (dopey as that is).

   Well, despite some retreat in the face of Trumpian pushback, the Democrats are still stupid woke...

   And now they may be going crazy along the economic axis, too. Instead of going for something like "abundance," they may be falling for the dumbest of the major economic ideas...

   Nice job, Democrats.

   If we could just get rid of Trump and replace him with someone just vaguely normal, I think we could clean up. This is an opportunity to contrast conservative reasonableness with leftist moonbattery...

   Instead, we've got Trump...

   His utterly unhinged antics with respect to Iran have made him even more out of the question--I'd guess--so far as normal people go. He just has no business conducting this war. Or, rather, trying to achieve a peace. He acts like a toddler who missed his nap...

   Well, anyway.

   This was supposed to be about how the Dems seem to be getting even wackier...
