Can you even? Because I sure as hell can't.

Kinda funny that a guy mentioned in the story and I had basically the same thought in basically the same terms:

What next? The Trump-Lincoln Memorial?

Or maybe:

The Donald J. Trump Truth Social - Lincoln Memorial Brought To You By $Trumpcoin...

A candidate for Trump's second term in a nutshell:

On the same day he is largely responsible for:

[a] An embarrassing, self-aggrandizing, symbolic act with no real consequences.

[b] Outlawing the pseudoscientific, ideological medical mutilation of American children.

Symbolic cringe + a profound, perhaps history-altering effort to move the nation away from a bit of abject madness emanating from the left.

See, you can vote for the other guys and avoid the cringe...by supporting the flat-out madness that reigns there now.

A bit like immigration: you can avoid the carefully-edited video clips of illegal aliens shrieking and crying when arrested...and all you gotta do is embrace open borders and the collapse of the USA...

Finally:

I really know nothing about this. Trump did raise money to renovate the Kennedy Center after what has been allegedly a long decline. It's possible that the name-change is justified. I just doubt it. And I think that a better man wouldn't even ask for such a thing...or so it seems to me, at least in my ignorance.
