Francis P. Sempa: 6 Dems' "Illegal Orders" Political Stunt Endangers America

I agree that this was total bullshit.

   If there had been illegal orders, that would be a different matter.

   But--with the possible exception of blowing up drug boats--there haven't been so far as I can tell.

   Seemed to me that the intended suggestion was that it was illegal for the National Guard to protect federal agents from leftist mobs. Which is bullshit. And, for that, I think there should be hard pushback against these idiots. The full-court press by the blue team against enforcement of immigration laws might just be the most insurrectiony thing I've ever seen in the U.S...though, of course, there are competitors...

   However: the talk of recalling Kelly to active duty just to court-marshal him seems crazy to me...beyond crazy... But I'd have to hear what people who actually know what they're talking about say...and I haven't.

   I hadn't thought of Sempa's point that this is of a piece with the loony Trump-is-Hitler talk, and with all the other vague suggestions of fascism--which are seldom fleshed out. That way his critics don't have to make specific charges against him.
