Two of the most notable characteristics of the progressive left are:

[1] Its tendency to subordinate facts to leftist dogma.

and

[2] Its tendency to shriek "That's racist" as an all-purpose argument and all-purpose defense.

   One area in which the left has been particularly successful in suppressing hatefacts is crime. Blacks just commit a lot more crime--and a lot more violent crime--than other races. And, needless to say, central to the left's suppression of this fact is, well, just shrieking "RACIST!" at anyone so foolish as to admit the truth.

   Anyway, as I and other have noted: Trump is immune to this strategy. He knows he's not racist, so he doesn't care if people call him that. The strategy works much better on people who fear they might actually have hidden racist tendencies--which is, IMO, why it works so well on progressives...

   Conservatives have long noted that "you're a racist" is basically progressive-ese for You won the argument.  My own view is that "you're racist" or "that's racist" coming from the left should immediately be celebrated as a victory. Sane people certainly can't continue to allow insane people to rule the roost in public discussions merely via false accusations.

   Look, how many times are you going to let them mindlessly, parrot-like, emit the same senseless syllables over and over? How many times are you going to give up in the face of this bald-faced bullshit?

   Trump, for all his flaws, might end up saving the country just by tacitly saying fuck you to the race-bating left.
