Though, if it is: I was apparently really wrong about the FL 2000 recount.

Even when you honestly and diligently try to untangle the truth of (even just) American politics, it often becomes such a complicated task that you can't realistically do it.

I'd like to hear what e.g. Volokh has to say about this.
