Sacramento King's Announcer Fired for "All Lives Matter" Tweet Finally Uncancelled Five Years Late

link
The left and the right are not equally guilty of "cancellation" (stupid term)--contrary to what the left has been claiming.
The left spent five years actually misusing government power to actually censor people, and ten years ruining people's lives (e.g. getting them fired) over invented or distorted comments. Remember, people were attacked and disciplined for e.g. saying "All lives matter," accidentally making the O.K. sign, correctly pronouncing Chinese words, and, of course, expressing any degree of skepticism whatsoever about lunatic articles of Woketarian faith--e.g. about "microaggressions," "white privilege," "systemic racism," and the like.
The right mainly stuck to ratting people out to their employers for saying and doing genuinely heinous things in the wake of the Charlie Kirk murder--dancing and giggling about it online, saying that Trump deserved the same, destroying memorials to Kirk, harassing mourners, and the like. The right generally stuck to the truth about what such people had said and done, was generally right about these things being appalling and grotesque...and they did this for about a week, after which they seemed to cool their jets.
These are comparable only in a very general and not-terribly-relevant sense: the right did, indeed, take a page out of the left's "Cancellation" manual...but after that, the similarity mostly ends.
Now, if they keep it up for ten years, and/or start intentionally misconstruing innocent comments, etc., then they'll be more similar to the left.
  We'll see.
