More on Trump, Chicago, and "Chipocalypse Now"

Jesus Christ I can't believe that we have a President who says stuff like this.

It's just way, way beyond the pale.

It reduces me to inarticulate anger.

Trump shouldn't even be seriously discussing sending the National Guard into Chicago. Crime's out of control there, and the mayor is a politically correct idiot who declares with great conviction that enforcing the law doesn't reduce crime...

But that's federalism and local control for you.

The serious issues here are already bad enough without adding vaguely threatening and radically unpresidential memes on top of everything else.

How can everything be so stupid?
