"Approximately Zero:" On Masks and Batflu

   You should have heard the shrieking when the administration dropped the mask mandate at my university last year. The woke faculty's position is basically: if the CDC recommends masks, we should force people to wear masks. And if the CDC does not recommend masks, we should also force people to wear masks.

[wailing] BECAUSE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!! 

   That is: some faculty have children, and are irrationally afraid of picking up the Wuhan bug on campus, and don't trust their own multiple-vaxation--and often multiple maskation--to protect them. So everybody else should also have to wear masks that don't work--and get vaxes that don't impede transmission--so that the kids aforementioned--who, speaking of approximately zero--are at basically no risk whatsoever from the deadly batflu--don't get it.
