The Woketarian Left Declares the Woketarian NYT Insufficiently Woke re: Transgenderism

One advantage we wishy-washy centrists have is that radicals tend to eat their own.

This letter is signed by hundreds (thousands?) of NYT contributors and various others.

Since it's an attack from the NYT's left, it doesn't violate Kerensky's dictum (No enemies to the left). 

The NYT, having very occasionally failed to toe the very most radical line on (trans)gender ideology, is a traitor in the eyes of all its even-truer-believing comrades.

Thus far the Times seems to be standing up to this nonsense--but we'll see.

Here's a hilarious early paragraph from the letter:

The newspaper’s editorial guidelines demand that reporters “preserve a professional detachment, free of any whiff of bias” when cultivating their sources, remaining “sensitive that personal relationships with news sources can erode into favoritism, in fact or appearance.” Yet the Times has in recent years treated gender diversity with an eerily familiar mix of pseudoscience and euphemistic, charged language, while publishing reporting on trans children that omits relevant information about its sources.

I mean...it's actually true that the NYT's coverage has been largely a matter of parroting transgender pseudoscience in said pseudoscience's own preferred euphemisms ("gender affirming" is merely the most Orwellian recent addition to the TransNewspeak lexicon)...  It's a real measure of the delusional nature of the PC left that it is able to convince itself that unavoidably obvious, rationally obligatory criticisms of its fantastical theories are themselves pseudoscientific...

   Super busy these days, so I've just been gesturing at this stuff and moving on. But this one may be worth ridiculing in detail.
