Amtrak Joe Couldn't Be Bothered to Visit the Palestine, OH, Train Wreck (Hurr Durr)

How does the fact that he used to talk a lot about riding Amtrak give him some special obligation to personally go to the site of the wreck? And this demand that Presidents personally inspect incidents about which they have no expertise...just generally dumb, IMO. And, as everyone knows, a Presidential visit often just complicates things for people on the ground who do know what they're looking at and what they're doing.

   The left's kneejerk stampede to blame Trump, is, indeed, stupid as hell. But that's a different point. 

   The other party can always bitch and moan about the President not personally laying eyes on whatever the Bad Thing Du Jour is. Tiresome and dopey, seems to me.
