Nooses Wild: More (Non-)Noose Hysteria

This time at Central Connecticut State University.

   This nonsense is more than just a curiosity. These reports are merely instances of the left's general approach to racism--they just happen to be more visual than the majority of cases. In general, the left looks at instances of non-racism and "sees" racism in them. This is basically just making shit up--but there's a kind of thin empirical basis for the lie. This strategy is bolstered by nutty background views like: intentions don't matter and the related: every interpretation is exactly as good as every other. The aim is to make sure that the moral transgression / crime is in the eye of the beholder--as with the left's conception of sexual harassment. This would be an at-least-theoretical double-edged sword if it could also be wielded by whites (and men)--but they pretend to have blocked that possibility by asserting that only whites can be racist. (Surely there must be some analog for sexual harassment, no?)

   Anyway. "Seeing" nooses where they don't exist is analogous to "seeing" racism where it doesn't. At least in this CCSU case, the thing actually does kinda look like a noose...so I guess that's something... It's even close enough that someone could be excused for mistaking it for initially mistaking it for one. Of course, two seconds of objective thought should be enough to reject the hypothesis--but that's not how progressivism works.
