Political Correctness Deja Vu

I say this over and over: what we're seeing now is political correctness again. The core of this madness is the same as it was in the late '80s: the subordination of truth to leftist dogma. Glad to see Cathy Young saying it. She adds something of which I wasn't aware: apparently some lefties think that the PC of the late '80s-early '90s was a myth created by the right. So arguing that what we see today is PC (they think) is a way of saying it doesn't exist, either. Well that's nuts, obviously. I have noted that basically that the left loves the It doesn't really exist strategy: political correctness, cancel culture, and Antifa have all been said to be fictional by one lefty or another. But I didn't know that they argued / presupposed that Paleo-PC is also a myth.
