 OTOH, it may be true. Which of course doesn't matter anymore. Mere actual, descriptive truth is so pre-postmodern.  I don't have a dog in this fight, and I don't have any relevant expertise. But, on the basis of the limited information and reasoning available to me, I've never ruled out this hypothesis.
