Trump Was Right Again: The Press Really Is The Enemy Of The People

I have despised our news media since I was in high school, and believe me, that was some time ago.
But even I was taken aback when Trump called the news media "the enemy of the people."
Now, I just realize it was another hard truth that Trump made me and a lot of others swallow.

This is exactly right. He's inarticulate, and often goofy, and he can even come across as buffoonish...but he's actually right a lot more than the articulate, leftists with their faux-scholarly demeanors and whatnot.  The stuff Trump says is usually considerably more reasonable than things you hear at universities all the time--and without the pseudo-scholarly jargon and sesquipedalianism.

I, too, was shocked to hear him call the press "the enemy of the people." I still think it's a phrase best avoided...but it's accurate. And it turns out that our only options were: (a) Trump says it, Trumpishly or (b) nobody says it at all. So we got the best of the available options.
