Jason L. Reily: Obama's Progressitarian Pivot Meant To Push Biden Leftward

Well, it's meant to shove--or at least point--a lot of people leftward, unfortunately.

Obama has been terrible on this issues. He did make a couple of efforts to reign in the crazier tendencies of the newly radicalized progressive left...and props to him for that. But he got ridiculed for it...maybe that helped push him leftward. Who knows? Maybe he's hoping to regain popularity to help fight the coming battle over Russiagategate? 

   At any rate: all that racial crap from the eulogy is an embarrassment. It's beneath him. But he doesn't have the greatest record on such things. I used to cut him too much slack on it. But, honestly, it's hard to believe that he doesn't know better. Maybe he really did pick up the Critical Race Theory virus in undergrad / law school... I always thought he was too smart and reasonable for that stuff to have really resonated and affected him. But there's evidence that it did...

   And those CRT types really love the genetic fallacy, don't they?

   Anyway. Disappointing to hear him say this sort of thing, especially at this sort of time.
