Progressivism Don't Fact: Boog Shirt Edition

Progressivism has lost its collective mind, as I may have mentioned.

   We have hundreds of hours of videotape of leftist, anarcho-communist Blackshirts rioting in American cities. They've killed something like 15 people at last count. (Almost all of them black, I'll note, since white lives only kinda sorta matter now according to Woketarianism.) They're burning shit down, blinding federal agents with lasers, declaring quasi-nations independent of the United States in the midst of major cities... But, you see, they don't actually exist! According to the progressive left, anyway...which, of course, includes almost all major media...

   "The Boogaloo Boys"...which may or may not exist...however, are TOTALLY REAL AND A SUPER-DUPER THREAT!!!!!!111111ONEONEONE. Also they are the ones who started all the riots! I mean mostly peaceful protests! Though they're good! The riots, I mean! Protests! And there isn't much violence. But if there were, it would be justified! But still, it was right-wing nutters who started it! Not left-wing nutters! Because there aren't any of those...like...by definition, basically!

   Somebody's confused. So far as I know, the boogaloo business is not a movement so much as a kind of running joke. One former--genuinely hilarious--subreddit, /r/weekendgunnit (now bant and moved to .win, along with TheDonald)...and, or so I read, at least one other website or Facebook page or something...th' horror!!! The Hawaiian shirt thing is a sub-joke. The running gag does have to do with authoritarian overreach by agencies like the FBI and BATF. I'm sure some people are kidding about it all less than others. Maybe some people formed an actual group or groups. There are undoubtedly some kooks in the mix. I read somewhere that a guy who claims some affiliation to this maybe-group...or quasi-group...or whatever it is...killed a cop. So fuck that guy, obviously. And, sure, I'd get this shit on the radar screen just in case. The right isn't currently afflicted by the kind of widespread insanity that grips the left, but you know how they are. Periodically, a lone wolf flips his shit and starts shooting--and then people can die in large numbers. Less of a threat to the nation than the organized insanity of the left...but still very, very not good.

   But it tells you a lot about the leftist insanity gripping the PMSM that they're shrieking bloody murder about "the boogaloo boys" while insisting that Pantifa doesn't exist! Or if it does it's good! Or at least we refuse to say it's bad...wink wink…
