KIPP Schools Abandon "Work Hard, Be Nice" Motto Because Something Something Systemic Racism

I hadn't even heard of the organization before, but it seems to aim to help mostly black and Hispanic kids.    But now, on the basis of a national fad based on a falsehood, they've decided that the motto is no good because it suggests that it's easy to "dismantle" "systemic racism." Also we don't live in a meritocracy, of course--that's a favorite lie of the left.
I’ve always liked KIPP‘s motto: “Work hard. Be nice.” It’s clear and concise. It’s not a false promise, like “if you can dream it, you can do it.” Furthermore, students can work hard and be nice right now, not in some distant future. It stresses effort and good character, rather than being “special.”
I think that's right, and--though I've never raised kids myself--I'll bet that there's not much you can teach them in four words that would be better for disadvantaged kids to learn than "work hard, be nice."
Maybe their new motto should be:

Historically, white supremacy has venerated the idea of objectivity, and wielded a dichotomy of ‘subjectivity vs. objectivity’ as a means of silencing oppressed peoples. The idea that there is a single truth–’the Truth’–is a construct of the Euro-West that is deeply rooted in the Enlightenment, which was a movement that also described Black and Brown people as both subhuman and impervious to pain. This construction is a myth and white supremacy, imperialism, colonization, capitalism, and the United States of America are all of its progeny. The idea that the truth is an entity for which we must search, in matters that endanger our abilities to exist in open spaces, is an attempt to silence oppressed peoples.

Really, to give kids some kind of a rough but widely-applicable, time-tested moral foundation, I find that nothing beats some Foucauldian-cum-pomo critical race theory. The Golden Rule and stuff like that will just confuse them. How are they going to start dismantling systemic racism if they don't understand its theoretical and historical underpinnings?
But I'm sure you're as alarmed as I am that there is no mention of interrogating gender and transifying the students--nor of dismantling the cisheteropatriarchy… Obviously the only solution is to #CancelKipp #KidsNeedCults #IndoctrinationNow
